Common name Angels Trumpets, this plant has large very fragrant five inch flowers. A three foot high shrubby perennial. Sometimes it does not make it through our winter but it will have plenty of seedlings which will bloom the same year. Slow to start but when the heat kicks in it starts growing fast. Blooms August/September. Best in full sun although I’ve have this plant thrive in semi-shade with no additional water. Deer resistant.
